Engage Terms of Service

Last updated April 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of Synfluencer Engage, the user-controlled AI engagement assistant for X. They supplement the main Synfluencer Terms of Service and stand on their own where Engage-specific behavior is concerned.

1. Introduction

By creating an account, connecting your X account, or otherwise using Synfluencer Engage, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Engage on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Description of Synfluencer Engage

Synfluencer Engage is an AI-assisted engagement workflow tool. It helps creators, founders, brands, and social media teams discover relevant public conversations on X, review post and thread context, generate draft replies, score engagement opportunities, and manage approved engagement actions from one dashboard. Engage is not an autonomous bot — it does not publish content on your behalf without explicit user review and approval.

3. User-controlled engagement workflow

The app may help draft replies, summarize context, and score opportunities, but the user must review and approve actions before publishing. Every reply, like, repost, quote post, and new post is presented as a draft and waits in the approval queue until you approve, edit, or reject it. There is no autonomous-publishing mode.

4. X account authorization

Connecting your X account to Engage is performed through the official X OAuth flow. By authorizing Engage you grant the app the scopes shown on X's authorization screen, used solely to support the engagement workflow described in these terms. You may revoke Engage's access at any time from your X account settings or from the Engage dashboard. Revoking access immediately stops any further actions on your behalf.

5. User responsibility for approved actions

The user remains responsible for all actions they approve and publish. You are the publisher of every reply, like, repost, quote post, and new post that you approve through Engage. You are responsible for ensuring that approved content complies with applicable laws, the X Terms of Service, the X Developer Agreement and Policy, the X Rules, and any other obligations that apply to you or your organisation.

6. Acceptable use

Users agree not to use Synfluencer Engage for spam, harassment, abusive behavior, impersonation, misleading activity, or platform manipulation. In particular, you agree not to use Engage to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk replies, repetitive content, or any other behavior that constitutes spam under the X Rules.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users; engage in hate speech; or target individuals or groups with hostile content.
  • Impersonate another person, brand, or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with any party.
  • Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, artificial amplification, or any form of platform manipulation.
  • Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, deceptive, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with Engage, the X API, or related infrastructure.

7. AI-generated drafts

Drafts generated by Engage — including replies, quote posts, summaries, and scores — are produced by AI models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content you would not want to publish. AI-generated content is presented for your review, editing, and approval. You are responsible for evaluating each draft before approving it. Synfluencer makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Publishing approved actions

The app may support approved replies, likes, reposts, quote posts, and new posts through the official X API. Once you approve an action, Engage publishes it on your behalf using the API and records the result in your audit log. Engage does not publish any content that has not been explicitly approved by you.

9. Rate limits and abuse prevention

Engage applies per-user rate limits, duplicate-response prevention, topic and keyword safety filters, and spam-risk scoring before drafts can be approved. These safeguards help keep your account in good standing with X and protect the broader conversation. Synfluencer may limit, suspend, or remove access to prevent misuse or abuse, including for behavior that violates these terms, the X Rules, or the X Developer Agreement and Policy.

10. Account disconnect

You may disconnect your X account from Engage at any time, either from the Engage dashboard or from your X account settings. Disconnecting invalidates the OAuth tokens we hold for that connection and stops Engage from taking any further actions on your behalf. You may also delete your Synfluencer account by contacting us.

11. Service availability

We work to keep Engage available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and may be unavailable for maintenance, due to issues with upstream providers (including X), or for other reasons outside our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synfluencer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Engage.

12. Changes to the service

We may update Engage and these terms from time to time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We may also add, remove, or modify Engage features as the product evolves and as the X API and X Developer policies change.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms? Contact us and we will respond within two business days.
